C&L Music of Seoul, South Korea has licenced "The Beggar Heart". Recent conversations lead us to believe the cd will be released in South Korea in September, 2009.

Suzanne Caron was, presumably, trolling the web— I've no idea how she found her way to the blog, but she did. She had fired off a quick post and, as I am want to do from time to time, i follwed her link back to a page full of paintings.
Hmph, I thought to myself... a painter.
Then I thought no more of it until I had decided to take up a brush myself and make a painting. I say "make" because I can't say "painted" comfortably. I visited Suzanne's site a couple of times to check in with regards to colour use and then let her know about my finished "painting".
Thus started a short back and forth during which she professed a fondness for one of the poetry bits from the blog and asked if I'd mind if she painted a kind of painterly response. I was thrilled and said yes.
She has since done the same with "Take A Little Walk".
Maybe this is going somewhere...

08.06.09 Real Beauty Aches on TV
Real Beauty Aches, from 2005's The King of Good Intentions, has been placed in the pilot episode of "Clean", a Canadian produced dramatic series that takes place in a rehab clinic.
The song is used in the final montage and ending credits of Episode 1.
